For as long as I can remember, voting day for most educated and working class,is treated as a holiday.
People talk of inefficiency,corruption,laziness,difference in thought process etc, but not once do majority of the talkers,DO anything about it.
We grumble & grumble & do nothing. This is a trait,that like our loud behaviour,follows us even if we settle abroad.
Voting comes FREE. You don't have to pay for it. Yes,you have to stand in a queue, but that's once in 5 years,so really don't see what the problem is.
As an adult you have some duties. Voting is one of them. Stop picking on netas and free yourself from your own inefficiency,laziness and indifference. Corruption can only be taken forward by those who have money to corrupt a person. The poor have nothing to give, yet they never shirk from voting!
So get up from that couch,go in your pyjamas if you are lazy, BUT VOTE!

Wow-Vixxy-- An article on Voting too, and that too for Indians in India? To si great ho Vixxy!! I hope People all over India go and Vote and that too for the RIGHT person this time around!! Politicians will be Politicians, for ever and ever- But there is always HOPE, that it will be better and different THIS TIME AROUND, for the people of India!! God, let some miracle happen to the people of this GREAT COUNTRY!!

DeleteNorth East India registered 75-80% of registered voting. If only the rest of India would do its duty! Alas the rich only grumble,never vote. After they have money to buy of anyone,from any party.
