Soul Searching on Valentine's Day

Raite Ki Tereha Hai Meri Zindagi,
Yunhi Bikhar Jaa Rahi Hai,
Kaanch Ke Toote Dukdoan Ki Tereha,
Bikhar Jaa Rahi Hai.

Kaise Likhoan Yeh Dil Ka Dard
Jab Saha Nahin Jata
Kaanch Ke Toote Dukdoan Ki Tereha
Jab Bikhar Jaa Raha Hai Sab

SHE MEANS MORE TO ME THAN A VALENTINE - 14th FEBRUARY

I was recovering a surgery, new to twitter, bored as hell, when suddenly, on my screen popped a question :

"Do you know which episode this scene is from?"

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon brought along with it,not just a fantastic Jodi, but some of my very, very close friends. And the above question, proved to be the beginning of a wonderful friendship.

Fangurling, ranting, odes, poems, tears and laughter all followed. But through it all, forged a friendship that needs no show nor actors.

Happy Birthday Aayu.

At this juncture of my life, I wish I had made that visit and hugged you as much as I wanted.

Have a great day,Aayu. May God shower all his blessings on you,now and hamesha.

Aise hi bann Gaye dost hum,
Aise hi bann Gaye dost hum,
Ab therei Bina Jee nahi Sakte,
Chahe din ho ya Raat.

13th February JODHA AKBAR BEAT WOODEN LOG SHOW

Woooo hooooo. Tango,Salsa, Chacha,Dinka Chika time!!

The show that has an excessively overacting Saas named Bhabho and the woodenest female actor I have ever seen, has been TOPPLED off the 1st Position in the TRP scales this week.

I have always firmly believed that the makers rigged the TRP ratings.

Yes, Indian women like nothing more than another woman tortured on screen ( or so it would seem ) but when various shows have better plots, why did the show never lose its place?  Food for thought and reason for investigation!

As a viewer...albeit the educated kind, I much rather watch a show with superb casting, fabulous direction and dialogues than OTT mother in laws and her wooden bindini.

What's not to like of Jalal's loving eyes follow his love Jodha's every movement? Who can resist their nok jhok? Their chemistry which you, convinces they are still alive and not from the past.

For those of you not watching Jodha Akbar, what a shame and what a loss! If you want to see one of the most well made shows of our time, WATCH JODHA AKBAR!
